Intern with Us!

Refine+Focus is offering a competitive unpaid, 12-week internship in the Spring of 2008, providing deep exposure to cutting edge interactive media, marketing and advertising trends. During the internship you will attend media events on behalf of Refine+Focus and will perform research, analysis and writing for the company’s blog.

At the end of the 12 weeks you will be able to include the following in your resume:

  • Completed an intensive interactive marketing internship to evaluate new and emerging trends in advertising, marketing and public relations
  • Wrote weekly entries for the company’s blog and reported on industry events at Harvard, MIT and in the Boston advertising community
  • Prepared news clippings for Refine+Focus’ clients working in the mobile marketing and advertising industries

The industry we work in, interactive media, is opening new doors and pushing the boundaries of what is possible, not only in marketing and advertising, but also in how we live our lives. Which is why this is no ordinary internship. You will not be stuck in a cubicle, highlighting documents, entering data and making photocopies for 8 hours. You will not be working with people who think that you will gain invaluable knowledge and experience just by standing near them. You will, however, be expected to motivate yourself every day to learn and explore, you will be asked for your opinion and it will be heard, you will mingle with industry experts and you will be trusted to represent the company. Most of the work you will do will be from your own computer, in your own time. You will also attend a monthly meeting and a media event with the CEO.
To apply email your resume to Carolina AT refineandfocus DOT com and tell us why you are interested. You do not have to be in Boston to apply, but we do require that you be extremely committed to this work, that you are responsible, self-motivated, hard working and consistent, and that you have a passion or deep curiosity for new media.

Hope to hear from you soon!
